New to boating and want to learn the basics? This eight-hour entry-level course is for individuals who are new to recreational boating. The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RI Dem) requires anyone born after January 1st, 1986 to pass this course before operating a vessel. Upon completion of this course and passing of the exam, individuals will receive their Rhode Island Boating license in the mail from the RI DEM.
Please note, even if you were born before 1986, SeaBelle Marine strongly encourages those that are new to recreational boating to take this course. You'll takeaway important information so you can have an enjoyable and safe boating experience.

Would you like to feel more comfortable and confident in your boat handling skills? This National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) approved course is for you.
Ideal for those who have completed a basic boating course, this training is your next step towards assured and skilled boat handling. If you were born before January 1st, 1986, you do not need to have taken a basic boating safety course as a prerequisite to taking this course.
This course is conducted on your own vessel and will cover:

Price: $375
SeaBelle Marine offers a course by the American Heart Association (AHA) that teaches how to treat minor injuries and react to life-threatening emergencies. Learn from a Nationally Registered AHA instructor and EMT.
This course will cover:
Time Commitment: 5 Hours for a 2-year certification; 3 Hours for re-certification
Price: $100 for new certification, $50 for recertification
